On Family Access to grades, if a student has an asterisk, it simply means that I have not entered that set of grades yet. However, if a student has a zero, it means that an assignment wasn't turned in or a quiz was missed. Even if a student is excused absent, I enter a zero...hopefully to motivate him/her to make it up as soon as possible. |
